The modal principle as the basis for the musical texture formation is studied in the book.
Not only the sound spectrum but its internal connections as well depend on and are “quantized” by the modal structure. Each modal system has own unique thesaurus of harmony and intonations.
The modal systems, too, are in a synarchic and hierarchic relationship with each other. It is very similar to the periodical system of elements, where each element has its specific number of electrons and their levels. This information is useful for musicians who would like to deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge. However, those who are not professional musicians may find the book interesting too as similar principles in structure formation define fundamental stability of everything in our world.
The introduction preceding the main theoretical part is a compilation of esoteric knowledge. Such knowledge is necessary to understand not just the universality of the vibration model of the Universe but also its spiritual meaning. Otherwise, manipulating with numbers formally can only lead to formal results.
